Venezia

The mask that started it all. My first piece. I created this in a workshop in Venice while on a short tour of Italy in 2023.

A masquerade half mask with three “horns”. Predominantly red in color, she is accented with black, including her make up. Each horn is adorned with rhinestones and gold paint. She also wears a feathers attached by a pendant.

Materials used: Papier mache, acrylic paint and varnish, rhinestones, pendant, feathers, and ribbon.
